Our Comprehensive Approach
Our 4-Step defence system incorporates the use of an environmentally-friendly professional-grade botanical disinfectant combined with a unique active barrier cleaner that can provide residual surface and air cleaning for up to 90 days.
STEP #1 - Testing the Current Level of Cleanliness
To begin the process, our technicians will TEST high use areas in your facility using the innovative technology of our NSPECT™ luminometer test equipment to determine levels of germ and pathogen activity.
A minimum of 5 key areas are tested in smaller facilities and the number of test sites increases with larger square footage to help ensure a thorough clean.
- A clean looking surface does not prove the result.
- Luminometers are commonly used throughout various industries, including healthcare and food service, to test and monitor the disinfected surfaces.
- At PUR90 we have partnered with Hygiena®, a world leading manufacturer of Luminometer testing equipment.
STEP #2 - Disinfecting with FRESCH Botanical Disinfectant
In STEP 2 our technicians will thoroughly and systematically DISINFECT all non-porous surfaces and high-traffic areas with highly-acclaimed FRESCH™ botanical disinfectant solution using our patented ultra-fine mist fogging system .
PUR90 eliminates 99.9% of bacteria and viruses including SARS-CoV2, the virus that causes COVID-19 – it disinfects, sanitizes and deodorizes in just ONE step.

STEP #3 - Enhancing with a 90-Day Active Clean
In STEP 3 our team follows behind the FRESCHTM application with an active-barrier cleaner that continually cleans for up to 90 days, between regular disinfecting calls, with PREVNT™.
PREVNT™ eco-friendly formula forms an active-barrier that works continuously cleaning the surfaces and purifying the air around them. PREVNT™ is effective for up to 3 months, keeping your environment clean for your staff and patrons by the removal of volatile organic compounds moving across the surfaces treated.
- Non-flammable, colorless, odorless, non-leaching, and non-migrating.
- Can be applied to both porous and non-porous surfaces, including HVAC systems.
- Safe for use on food contact surfaces, utensils, appliances, and equipment.
STEP #4 - Validate and Document the Clean
In STEP 4 we repeat the series of tests we began with and verify the clean. Certification with NSPECTTM industry-leading luminometer confirms the job is done properly and all targeted areas are effectively sanitized with the FRESCHTM disinfectant and PREVNTTM active barrier cleaner.
Our technicians will validate the job is completed and effective. PUR90 will create a report and schedule any future treatment date.
- Our services can also offer a historical record of periodic testing results. This data can be used to modify disinfecting regimens as needed to meet specific disinfecting objectives and standards.
- Clients will be able to log-in online with their personalized PUR90 account and see every clean date, as well as the before and after test results to track every aspect of the process. Our standards of ‘Clean’ meet or exceed industry standards.
